Obituary

DIED—April 11, 1892, at the home of William Sturman, Winterset, Iowa, Mr. Elias Reigle, aged 58 years, 4 months, 10 days.

Elias Reigle was born in Harrison county, Ohio, November 30th, 1833; moved to Van Buren county, Iowa in 1854, and from there to Madison county, Iowa, in 1855 where he has lived ever since.

Mr. Reigle has lived with William Sturman for the past 25 or 30 years, and was just recovering from an attack of la grippe when he was taken sick with lung fever. This lingered along since February 20th, until an abcess formed in his left lung, which was the cause of his death.

His sisters, Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs. Adams, from Chariton, and his brother, George, with many other friends, attended his funeral. He died leaving cheering words as to his future, to comfort his many friends.
