Mrs. Neta May Harrell, a lifteime resident of Madison County, died at the Villa West Care Center in Winterset last Thursday, May 9. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Harrell was born in Madison county on July 14, 1893 the daughter of Charles and Etna Phillips Smith. She was married to Benjamin Harrell in Winterset on March 20, 1910.
She was affiliated with the First Christian Church of Winterset.
Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Lester Gray of Winterset, as well as three granddaughters and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents an infant son, and one brother.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with the Rev. Eldon E. Jandebeur officiating. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
