December 10, 1958FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. HESTER, 78
Funeral services for Mrs. Otho E. Hester, 78, will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from Fisher's Funeral Home in Adel.
Mrs. Hester died Monday night Dec. 8 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She had broken a hip last Friday and underwent major surgery the following day.
The daughter of James and Lucinda Piercy, she was born May 9, 1880 in Dallas County.
For the last 16 years she had made her home in Winterset.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ivan Penn and Vervel Hester, both of Winterset and one brother, Dr. George Piercy of Wichita, Kans.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Officiating at the services this Thursday will be the Rev. Miller of Adel. Burial will be in Panther Creek cemetery.
