Mr. John Conway, one of the old settlers of Grand River township, died at his home on West Branch, Friday night, March 18th. He had only been ill a short time, and was not supposed to be dangerously sick. The funeral services were held at the West Branch church, on Sunday, by Rev. W. E. Harvey.

Note: Burial was made in the West Branch cemetery.
