William McConkey died at his home in Winterset, last Tuesday morning, after an illness which had lasted about a year. He was born in Ohio, Nov. 15, 1826. The funeral took place Wednesday, from his late home in the east part of town, Rev. W. E. Stanley, officiating.

Note: Burial was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery.
