MABEL L. COBEAN

Mabel L. Cobean, daughter of James W. White and Mary Wright White, was born in Dallas County, Iowa on April 24, 1891. She grew to womanhood in the Linden area.

For a number of years she and her two sons, Richard and LeRoy have lived in Earlham. She passed away Saturday, October 4 at 7:30 a.m. at the Madison County Memorial hospital at the age of 84 years.

Funeral services were held at the Evans-McKee Funeral Home in Earlham on Monday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Bernard Zylstra conducted the service. Pallbearers were Sheldon Strong, Dale Mills, Herb Patience and Gus Lorenze. Interment was in the West Linn cemetery near Linden.
