Cora Ethel Kingery

Daughter of C. H. and Janie Kingery was born in Madison county, Iowa , February 11, 1890 and died at Lorimor, Union county, Iowa on the 10th day of April 1905, aged 15 years, 1 month and 29 days. Last January in the meetings held at Bethany she was converted and united with the church. Cora was an obedient, faithful daughter and tried in all ways to do her duty. Her prayers during her brief illness were for those whom she was about to leave and especially for her father. Her parents, four brothers and 2 sisters and many relatives and friends mourn her early departure. The bereaved family desire to express their appreciation of the kindness and sympathy of their many relatives and friends in their bereavement.

Cora Kingrey died April 10th at the home of her uncle in Lorimor, aged 15 years, and was buried in the Kilgore cemetery. About three months ago she gave her young life into her saviors keeping and thus he has called her early to a better home. Cora was a bright and beautiful girl and was loved by all who knew her. The parents, brothers and sisters have the sympathy of all.

Died at the home of Chas. Berry in the city Monday night at 11 o’clock, Miss Cora Kingery. Miss Kingery has been ailing for a week or more, was not thought to be dangerous, until a few hours before her death, when typhoid symptoms in a malignant form showed up and she died as above stated. She was a young girl of about 15 years old, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kingery and had been keeping house for Chas. Berry, who is her uncle. The interment took place in the Kilgore cemetery on Wednesday.
