Mrs. F. Kukuk, of Monroe township, died at about nine o'clock, Friday evening, June 5. The bereaved family are entitled to and will receive the sincerest sympathy of neighbors and friends.

Obituary of Mrs. F. Kukuk

Mrs. F. Kukuk, of Monroe township, Madison county, Ia., was born in Mecklenberg-Schwering, January 29th, 1850 and died on June 5th, 1891. Her age was forty years, four months and thirteen days. Her sickness was heart disease.

She came to America in 1865, and resided in Henry county, Ill., where she formed acquaintance with the church of her choice. She was always and active member, prepared to give an assurance of the hope she had within, and she remained faithful until the end of her journey.

Mrs. Kukuk united in the holy bonds of matrimony with her now mourning husband on May 3d, 1868 and the Lord blessed their union with six children, of which one has preceded her to the Land of Rest, they having changed their residence to Madison county, Ia. where she was loved by all who formed her acquaintance. She always lent a helping hand to the sick and afflicted, and always had a word of comfort and cheer for every one in the family.

She leaves husband, parents, five children, two sisters and many friends to mourn her early departure. May the Lord grant His blessing to the bereaved, and grant them to meet where there will be no more parting.
