Death of a Former Citizen

We heard this week of the death of Rev. S. A. Lovelace, at his home in the southwest part of the state. His death was very sudden. But a few weeks ago he removed from Blockton, in Taylor county, to Grant P.O., in Montgomery county. We have not been furnished with any particulars.

I am sorry to have to write of the death of Mr. Samuel A. Lovelace who has been a resident of this place for many years, but has been for the last year or 2 away from here preaching in other parts.

He was a comparatively young man at the time of his death. He died of typhoid fever, and is to be buried near Patterson on Monday, Nov. 24. He was a good kindhearted man. We sympathize with his family.

Transcriber's note: Evidently plans changed as he was buried at Grant, Montgomery County, Iowa.
