Miss Annie Graves, of Douglas township, one of the long-time residents of Madison county, died at her home some days ago. In the early sixties she came to this county with her brother, Elihu Graves, and the two have always lived together. They first settled on the old Dowers farm, now owned by C. F. Perkins, and afterward moved to another place a mile or more north of that one. At the time of her death she was sixty-seven years of age. Relatives of Miss Graves were uncle and aunt ----- Cooper, and B. F. Cooper, of ------ township.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
