Jake Lowe, who lived in the southwest part of town and drove a milk wagon for Tucker’s creamery, died last Saturday of typhoid fever. He was up and about until a short time before his death.

Page 4, Column 2Jacob Low, a young man about thirty years of age, died of malaria fever Saturday. He had been in feeble health for nearly a year, having suffered greatly with heart disease.
He was formerly a resident of Jackson township and was well acquainted in that part of the county. He was known as a man of integrity and well liked. He leaves a wife and several children.
