Life-Long Resident of Union and Madison Counties Was 61 Years of Age
Mrs. Raymond Edgington, a life-long resident of Union and Madison counties, died Sunday, July 25, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 61 years of age.
Mrs. Edgington was the former Winnie Ellen Kingery, daughter of Thomas and Ellen Kingery. She was born in Union county July 6, 1893 and spent her early life there.
In 1920 she was married to Raymond Edgington. They were parents of three sons.
She was a member of the Lorimor Methodist church.
In addition to her husband she leaves three sons, Russell Edgington of Winterset, Thomas Edgington of Port Thomas, Wash. and Claire Edgington of Des Moines and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Macksburg Methodist church, conducted by the Revs. Herbert Nehison and Clement Rowe. Burial was to be made in the Moon cemetery at Macksburg.
