Services Held Saturday for Life-Time Resident of This County
Mrs. Pearl M. Fosher, a life-long resident of Madison county died here Thursday, May 26 at the age of 80 years. She had been in failing health for some time.
Mrs. Fosher was the former Pearl Mabel Smith, daughter of Levi and Sarah Smith. She was born in this county, Jan. 13, 1880.
She was married Nov. 29, 1898 to John Fosher. They were parents of a son, Albert Fosher of Winterset, who survives.
In addition to the son, she leaves two grandchildren, Mrs. Russell Little of Winterset and Mrs. Myles C. Davis of Davenport; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Richards Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the First Christian Church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Primitive Baptist cemetery.
