Mrs. P. Swift, of Crawford township, died at her home Monday last. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father Dunion, and took place on Thursday. The burial was at the Catholic cemetery in Lee township.

Mrs. Swift was about sixty years of age, and had been in poor health for about twenty years, but not getting seriously sick till the past winter, since which time she declined rapidly. She was the mother of J. L. Swift, station agent at Winterset.
