Ben Rippey, who lived seven miles southwest of town, died at his home last Tuesday. He had long been in poor health, being subject to fits at intervals. He leaves a number of relatives, among whom are his mother, and a brother, Dr. Rippey.

Note: Burial was made in the Hooten cemetery.
