Death of Mrs. Ernest Williams

Mrs. Audrey Henderson Williams died at her home in Waterloo, Sunday morning, December 12th. She was born in Clearfield, Iowa, in 1892. When seven years old she came to Winterset, where she lived for a number of years. In 1914 she was married to E. G. Williams and to this union were born four boys: Richard, Robert, Donald and Warren, all of whom survive her. Mrs. Williams had been ill but two weeks, first having a bad cold which resulted in paralysis and poisoning. She leaves besides her children, Mrs. Dora Henderson, her mother; two brothers, Erle Henderson of this place, and Valentine Henderson of Twin Falls, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Mahlon Forsythe of Dixon, Illinois, Mrs. Roscoe Chapman of Rockford, Illinois; and Mrs. Lillian Smith of this place; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at the United Presbyterian church, Tuesday morning at 10:30 o’clock by Rev. W.Z. Allen. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Audrey Alice Henderson was born September 11th, 1892 and was the youngest child of William Richard and Dora I. Henderson. She confessed Christ as her savior and united with the United Presbyterian church January 28th, 1906, when she was 14 years old.

She was married to Ernest G. Williams, August 22nd, 1914. Her death occurred at the St. Francis hospital in Waterloo on December 12th, 1926. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband and four little boys, besides her mother, three sisters and two brothers.
