Services for Clark E. Harper, Creston, who died Friday June 12 at the home of his daughter in State Center where he had lived for the last 16 weeks, were held Tuesday June 16 at the Larkin Funeral Home in Creston with the Rev. Bob Pickerall, pastor of the First Christian Church in Creston officiating. Burial was at the Graceland Cemetery at Creston.
Born April 5, 1903 in Winterset, he was married to Florence Etta Mason at Osceola on Dec. 29, 1924. They moved to Creston in 1929 and operated Clark's Place for 29 years. They retired in 1957.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna (Mrs. Bill) Glade of State Center; a son, Bud Harper of Creston; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife on June 26, 1977.
