Died, January 11th, Charles Fitzpatrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fitzpatrick, of consumption. Though not unexpected, the news of his health was saddening in the extreme. He had been a long and patient sufferer until a short time ago, when a great improvement in health encouraged his parents and friends to hope that he might after all be spared. But the gain was only temporary, and after a short but severe relapse, death ended his career in early manhood.

His funeral took place at the Presbyterian church on last Monday afternoon, Rev. H. C. Herring, the pastor, officiating. The grief of his parents and relatives will be shared a great number by which his upright and amiable character left endeared him.
