Died, on Tuesday evening, October 1, at his home on West Branch, the son of John Conway of diphtheria; age about 16 years.

Note: This appears to be John W. Conway, son of John D. and Minerva Conway. The gravestone has been mis-marked as 01 Oct 1890 rather than 1889.
