RALPH PRICE DIED FRIDAY MORNING

Death Ends Long Illness. Funeral Held Sunday; Burial In Earlham Cemetery.

Ralph R. Price died at his home here early last Friday morning after an illness of several months. He was 53 years old.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, December 15, at 2:00 o’clock at the M. E. church. Reverend L. G. Wolfe, assisted by Reverend Waldo Reece, was in charge. Interment was in the Earlham cemetery.

OBITUARY

Ralph Raymond Price was born July 1, 1882, at Oskaloosa, Iowa, and passed away at his home in Earlham, Iowa, December 13, 1935, at the age of 53 years, six months and 12 days. He was the oldest son of James Parker and Iowa Belle Price.

He was married to Maebelle Jane Potter September 7, 1904. To this union were born seven children; three of whom preceded him in death. Thorem M. and Delores M. died in infancy and Forrest at the age of 25. His wife, Maebelle preceded him in death, April 3, 1920.

On October 3, 1932 he was married to Pearl Smith of Earlham.

Most of his life was spent in and around Earlham.

His greatest consideration was for his family and his home.

In his earlier life he was a member of the Christian Church, and all through his life he has been a Christian.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. Pearl Price; his daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. William Penn of Bevington, Iowa; his son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Arley Price of Corning, Iowa; Paul Price at home and Vergene Price of California. Also his mother, Mrs. Iowa Belle Price; two brothers, Roy and Chas. Price besides a host of other relatives and friends.
