Death of Mrs. Clara Patton

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Clara Maud Patton, 48, of Yolo, California. Mrs. Patton lived for many years in Madison county, near Lorimor. She died last week at her home one mile east of Yolo, after a long illness.

The deceased was a native of Brown county, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos Jacobs. She has lived in California for thirty years and in the Yolo district for 20 years.

Mrs. Patton is survived by her husband, C. E. Patton, and two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Siler of Sacramento and Miss Hazel Patton post graduate student in the Woodland high school, where she was salutatorian last year. Mrs. Dora Hattel of Yolo is a half sister.
