Patrick King, well known farmer of near Booneville, died at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines Tuesday night. Death was caused by a heart ailment. He was 54 years old.
The deceased is survived by a wife and several children. Funeral services will be held at Booneville Friday.

Patrick King
Patrick King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence King was born in Lee township, Madison county, Iowa, March 20th, 1872. He died of a heart attack at the Mercy hospital in Des Moines, April 24th, 1934.
Mr. King lived his childhood in the Irish Settlement. On April 29, 1903 he was united in marriage to Mary Lucy McNamara. At that time he has become a prominent farmer west of Cumming where he spent the remaining years of his life.
He is survived by his wife and five children, Clare, Leon, Winifred, Marie and Vincent of Booneville, his father, Lawrence, senior of the Irish Settlement, four brothers, William and John of Booneville, Frank of Bevington, and Lawrence Junior of the Irish Settlement and a sister, Mrs. James Hanrahan of Prole. Five of his children have preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Friday at St. John’s church in Cumming. Burial was made in the St. John cemetery.
