Death of Mrs. Wm. F. Cronk

Herman Lewis received word the first of the week of the death of his grandmother, Mrs. Wm. F. Cronk, at Puente, California. Mrs. Cronk was raised in this county, and her husband, the Rev. Wm. F. Cronk was formerly a United Brethren pastor at Van Meter and conducted services in various parts of this county. She is survived by her husband, and a sister, Mrs. Arminda Ogburn. The body is being sent to Des Moines and funeral services will be held there Saturday. Mrs. Cronk was about 77 years of age.

Former Resident Dies

Services for Mrs. William F. Cronk, 77, who died in Puinta, California, will be held in Des Moines.

Mrs. Cronk was the widow of the Rev. Cronk, United Brethren pastor who held a pastorate near Van Meter. Mrs. Arminda Ogburn is a sister and Herman Lewis of the Lewis Drug store, is a grandson.
