Death of MRS. JOHN LENTZ

On Sunday evening, occurred the death of Mrs. John Lentz of Jefferson township, after a week's illness with flu pneumonia.

Brief services were held today at one o'clock at the German Lutheran cemetery.

Mrs. Lentz, who was Miss Louise Niendorf before marriage, leaves three children, the oldest thirteen, the youngest five years of age.

Mr. Lentz and his children will have the deep sympathy of a wide circle of friends who will grieve with them in the sudden passing of a beloved wife and mother.

MRS. LOUISE CHRISTINE LENZ

Mrs. Louise Christine Lenz was born in Jefferson Township where she lived practically all her life. She was married to John Lenz Nov. 20, 1902.

On Oct. 11th, 1918 she took sick with Spanish Influenza, which developed into pneumonia. She died Oct. 20, having reached the age of 39 years and 10 months.

In accordance with the state quarantine, her funeral was conducted in the open air at the Lutheran cemetery on Oct. 23.

She leaves three children: Henriett, age 14, Louis, 13 and Marie, 5 years. Besides her husband and children, she is mourned by her mother, Mrs. Louis Neindorf, three brothers; John, Herman and Louis Neindorf, and five sisters, Mrs. John Zeimann, Mrs. Geo. Roberts, Mrs. Richard Kneuper, Mrs. David Marquardt and Mrs. Elmer Lienemann.
