Death of Miss Georgia Comp

Our readers will be greatly grieved to learn of the death of Miss Georgia M. Comp which occurred at the home of her parents in Jackson township at 6:55 o'clock on Sabbath morning the 31st ult., at the early age of twenty years, five months and twelve days.

Miss Georgia was born in Henry county, Illinois, May 19th, 1866, and came with her parents to this county, when four years old. She united with the Methodist Episcopal church in 1881, and has been beloved and consistent member.

She has been in failing health for sometime, and last summer went to Colorado in the hopes that that climate would restore her health. These hopes were in vain. Her parents will have the sympathy of a large circle of friends by whom, and especially by her school mates she was greatly beloved.

Miss Georgia Comp, daughter of Henry Comp, died at his residence eight miles west of town Sunday morning. This is a peculiarly sad affliction, as the deceased is the second daughter these sorrowing parents have been called upon to follow to the grave, in a couple of years or so, both amiable and promising young ladies just arrived at the age of womanhood.
