IN MEMORIAM

William B. Hutton, the subject of this memoir, was born in the state of Ohio, July 10th, 1834, and removed to Ottawa, Ill., where he became a member of the Baptist church, and was a good worker in the church and Sunday school as well. His life was quiet and peaceable in his associations with his fellow men. He departed this life September 19th, 1886, at the residence of his nephew, Mr. William Rhodes, in Lincoln township, Madison county, Iowa, aged 52 years, 3 months and 9 days. Funeral services by Rev. P. W. Jellison.

Note: Burial was made in the Clark cemetery.
