Frank Hiatt was called to Ackworth, Warren county, Monday of last week, by the severe illness of his mother. The fears then entertained proved only too true, she died the Wednesday following.

The family's home is near Truro, in this county, but they have been temporarily at Ackworth for the purpose of giving the boys an opportunity to attend the Friends' academy at that place.
