Mr. Marcus Trent was killed last Friday afternoon at his home, south east of town. He was sawing wood with a "buzz saw" when the saw flew to pieces, one of the particles striking him in the head and killing him instantly.

Mr. Trent was a well-to-do farmer of high standing. His sad and untimely death is shocking news to the community in which he lived.
