Mrs. Rita Keenan Dies

Mrs. Rita Pauline Keenan, the former Rita Moore of Winterset, died at the home of her parents near Mason City, May 9th, according to advices received here this week. Death following a lingering illness with which she was stricken last October. She was 28 years old.

Mrs. Keenan was born in Winterset on March 11, 1905, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Moore. She lived here until eight years ago when she moved with her parents to Mason City, where she married John Keenan.

She is survived by her husband, a 14 months old daughter, Joanne Marie, her parents, two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Keenan and Mary Moore, and a brother, Kenneth Moore. The funeral was held last Friday at Mason City in charge of the Rev. W. H. Spence of the First M. E. church of that city. Burial was at Mason City.
