An automobile accident on a gravel road near Kirksville, Missouri, on October 10, was fatal to Orville D. Rollstin, former Madison county man. His wife also was critically injured in the mishap.
Mr. Rollstin was 70 years old. He was born near Winterset on October 28, 1863, the son of A. J. and Mary Rollstin. Married at Doniphan, Nebraska, on October 6, 1886, to Miss Martha Holloway, he made his home in Madison county as a farmer, until about 1919. At that time they moved to Missouri, where they lived until about a year ago. Recently they have been at Peru.
The deceased is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Travis of Peru, and Mrs. Edna Frost of Kirksville; two grandchildren, and two brothers, P. G. Rollstin of Winterset, and L. W. Rollstin of Loveland, Colorado.
Funeral services were held here at the Baptist church at 2 p. m., last Saturday, in charge of the Rev. Fred W. Madson, assisted by the Rev. W. C. Porter.
