Mrs. Templeman, aged seventy-three, died Monday night in this city. Her maiden name was Grant. Her father and Gen. Grant's father were cousins.

She had four sons in the union army and one in the rebel service who was a brigadier general and was killed in the battle of the Wilderness. Among the relics of the war, kept by the old lady, was the uniform coat of the General's, worn by him at the time he was shot and which shows the bullet hole.

She was much esteemed by all her friends and neighbors.
