Ann M. McLaughlin, 90, of Winterset, died of heart failure Nov. 1, 1997, at the Community Care Center in Winterset. Graveside services were Nov. 4 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.

She was born in Gilbertville and lived most of her life in Des Moines. She was a Winterset resident for 5 years. She was a candy dipper for Schuzette Candies.

Surviving relatives include one step-daughter, Patricia Mascaro of Winterset and one brother, Robert Schmit of Gilbertville.

Ann M. McLaughlin, 90, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Saturday at Community Care Center there. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McLaughlin was born in Gilbertville and lived in Des Moines most of her life, moving to Winterset five years ago. She was a retired candy maker with Suzette Candy.

Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Mascaro Step of Winterset; a brother, Robert Schitt of Gilbertville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Tonini Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m.
