Francis "Mae" McKee, 63, West Des Moines, died of cancer Jan. 25 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services were held Jan. 28 at McLaren's Resthaven Chapel with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. McKee was born in Macksburg and lived in West Des Moines for 25 years. He retired from Massey Ferguson and had been a member of Valley United Methodist Church, Westgate-Adelphic Masonic Lodge, Power Engineer's Association and Hobie Fleet 84. He was also a World War II veteran of the U. S. Navy.
Survivors include his mother, Mabel McKee of Winterset; five brothers, Lyman and William, both of Mesa, Ariz.; Roger of Altoona, Melvin of Murray, Ky., and Larry of Tyler, Texas; and five sisters, Lucile Brown of Patterson, Maxine Anderson of Dayton, Ohio, Afade Silverthorn of Mesa, Iola Chickering of Algona and Carlotta Wilcox of Ogallala, Neb.
