William Tullis, son of George and Elizabeth Tullis, was born in the state of Ohio, Jan. 10, in the year 1869. He, with his parents came to Iowa, where he has made his home, and where people have known him from early boyhood.

He was united in marriage to Catherine Eleanor Ruth, May 21, 1891. They have lived in Madison county all their married life, with the exception of eight months, which were spent in Kansas.

He departed this life Tuesday morning, November 29, at 2:35. He leaves a mother, one brother, a loving wife, three dear little children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.

He was a devoted Christian, having united with the Christian church in Jan. 1885. Funeral services were held from the Christian church Thursday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by the pastor, E. E. Bennett.

Will Tullis died at his home in Scott township Tuesday at 5 a. m. of spinal meningitis. The funeral will occur today (Thursday) at the Christian church in this city at 11 o'clock conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett and he will be laid to rest in the Rock City cemetery.

Obituary
