DIED

REEVES - At Rochester, Wilson county, Kansas, on the morning of the 18th of July, 1878, after a brief illness, Lida J., wife of Mat. H. Reeves, and youngest daughter of J. T. Jones, of Winterset, Iowa. She was a member of the M. E. church, and died in the full assurance of faith in Christ. She leaves many friends to mourn her untimely death. She died as only the Christian dies.

Lida dearest, a last a long farewell,
For thou art gone with Christ to dwell.
