On Monday night last R. A. Patterson was summoned to Macksburg by the death of his youngest child, a boy one year old, where it was being cared for by an Aunt of Mr. Patterson's deceased wife. In the morning he returned with the remains which were laid to rest by the side of its mother who had passed over the dark waters a few months before.
