DARWIN DUNCAN FUNERAL HELD

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Kale Funeral home in Truro for Darwin D. Duncan, whose death had occurred March 10 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. The Rev. Richard Hempenius conducted the services. Burial was made in Fields cemetery in Clarke county.

Mr. Duncan was 56 years of age at his death. He was a life-time resident of the Truro community. He was a mechanic by trade.

He was a son of Theodore and Lillie Forman Duncan. Surviving are a brother, Ray Duncan of Truro; and five sisters, Mrs. Flossie Henson of Blockton, Mrs. Edna Wharff of St. Charles, Mrs. Ona Pritchard of El Cajon, Calif., Mrs. Ruby Carlsted of Des Moines and Mrs. Ethel Hamner of Des Moines.
