KENNETH SHELDON DIES AT 37 YEARS

Kenneth T. Sheldon, formerly of Truro and Winterset, died Monday, March 16, at his home in Kerman, Calif., following a heart attack. He was 37 years of age.

Mr. Sheldon was born in Lorimor Nov. 11, 1932, a son of Mr. and Mrs. True Sheldon. His early life was spent in the Truro community, where he attended school. He was married in 1952 to Roberta Jean Patterson of Memphis, Mo., who survives him.

Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon lived in Winterset for several years, while he was employed here by the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company. They moved to California nine years ago, and lived at Sanger for two years before moving to Kerman. He was employed by the Kerman Telephone company there.

He was a veteran of the Korean war.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Kenneth, Patricia, Cindy and Randy, all of Kerman; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. True Sheldon of Truro; two brothers, Merrill Sheldon of Chicago and Dale Sheldon of Truro; and a sister, Mrs. Vida Caskey of Indianola.

Funeral services were held last Friday from the Bragg and Sons Funeral chapel at Kerman, with burial in the Sarger district cemetery.
