In Memoriam

In memory of our dear departed mother, Mrs. Mary E. Wilson, who died Jan. 22, 1914, aged 83 years, 2 months and 2 days. She was at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Acheson, near Osceola, at the time of her sickness and death. She seemed real well this winter till she took pneumonia nine days before she died.

She was a living witness of a true Christian, was surely an example of patience and love. She had charity for every body. Always had a good word for every one she knew. She was so cheerful all through her sickness. She had no fear of death, said she was ready to go. She would lay on her sick bed and ---- time and again. About 36 hours before she died she asked one of her daughters to sing, "Alas and Did My Savior Blood." She said, "yes, if you will sing with me." She said, "Yes, if I can," and she joined in and sang four lines through clear and plain. Her favorite song was "Nearer My God To Thee." She hardly ever looked at anybody without a smile.

We know she has gone where she will never have any more pain or sorrow. Mark the perfect man and behold the upright; for the end of that man is peace. - Psalms 37:37. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord, Rev. 14:13.

We all miss our dear mother, but we mourn not as those who have no hope.
