Our Chip Basket

During the excitement of election last week, we neglected to make mention of the sad death of Mrs. Wm. Hornbeck at her home the Friday evening before. This was a particularly sad affair as Mr. and Mrs. Hornbeck had been married but a short time and were just entering upon a life of happiness. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the sorrow-stricken husband, who, as was also his wife, was raised in Madison county. The remains were brought here and interred in the cemetery on Sunday.
