Len P. Moore Buried at Dexter

Funeral services were held at the Earlham Methodist church for Len P. Moore last Friday afternoon. Rev. Clemmer of Dexter, was in charge of services. Burial was made at Dexter.

Mr. Moore was born in Knox county, Illinois in 1873. He came to Iowa with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Moore about 50 years ago when they settled in Penn township.

In 1895 he was married to Sarah Diston. They lived in several localities in Madison county bur more recently on their farm east of Earlham. Due to ill health he retired from the farm last year and moved to Dexter. In October of this year he and Mrs. Moore purchased the Anderson property in Earlham, and moved here. Mr. Moore spent his lifetime in farming and stock feeding.

Three brothers and one sister preceeded him in death. His wife, one sister, Mrs. Fern Repass, two nephews, Franz Lenocker and Wm. Moore and a niece Mrs. Dwight McClelland survive him.
