BARBARA KALE GUIBERSON

Barbara Ellen Kale was born October 14, 1858, and passed away at her home in Winterset, Tuesday, September 3, 1935, while writing a letter to a daughter.

She was married to James H. Guiberson, February 19, 1879, by the Rev. Henry Wallace, Sr.

Seven children were born to this couple, two of whom have died, Blanche Guiberson Barnett at the age of 28 years and Roy W. Guibeson at the age of 42 years.

Mrs. Guiberson leaves her husband and five children: C. P. and Harry, who live at home, Mrs. Ray Chapman of DeSoto, Mrs. Leona Myers of Des Moines and Mrs. Eva Jones of Bevington. She also leaves a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren, and two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Emma Goodner of Kimball, Mrs. K. Sayer of Ensign, Kansas and Joseph Kale of Winterset. A half brother, Elmer Allen of Winterset, also survives her. In early married life she united with the Christian church in Winterset.

The Rev. L. F. Davis conducted her funeral service at Tidrick's funeral home, Friday, September 6 at two o'clock, and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
