Lou Schloemer, 67, of Des Moines died Sept. 15, 2007.
Memorial services will be held from 5–10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Adventureland Inn Parkview Room in Altoona.
Lou Schloemer was born Jan. 20, 1940 to Ernest and LaVon (Payton) Schloemer of Latimer and was a resident of Des Moines for most of his life. Lou was a shop foreman and diesel mechanic for M. Peterson Construction for many years. He also worked at the former Trail’s End Western Wear earlier in his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by one son, Davis Schloemer of Des Moines, and stepchildren Rex Paullin and Deb Paullin.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel & Funeral Services in Winterset.
