ANDREW E. DICKSON, 59, of 2325 Merle Hay Road died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Dickson was born in Madison County and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was self-employed in the water treatment business and was a charter member of the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa.

Surviving are his wife, Dolores; and a brother, John Dickson of Cedarville, Ark.

Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will meet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spina Bifida Association of Iowa or Hospice of Central Iowa.

Note: Mr. Dickson graduated from the Winterset High School, Winterset, Iowa, with the Class of 1952.
