RANDAL TUCKER, Creston

Randal Keith Tucker, 49, of Creston died Aug. 28, 2007.

A Celebration of Life Service was held Monday, Sept. 10, at the Macksburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Frank officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Moon Cemetery in rural Macksburg.

Randal Tucker was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Winterset to Max and Mary Jo (Lull) Tucker and was a 1976 graduate of Orient-Macksburg High School. He also attended Southwestern Community College in Creston. Randal worked retail most of his life — Kmart in Creston for 17 years and Sears Credit in Des Moines for 10 years. Most recently, he was employed by Wal-Mart in Creston.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ira and Mattie Tucker, and maternal grandparents, Robert and Blanche Lull.

He is survived by his parents, Max and Mary Jo, of Macksburg; siblings, Brian Tucker of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Greg Tucker of Macksburg, Renee Tucker of Des Moines, Noel Tucker of Beaumont, Texas, and Neal Tucker of Wadsworth, Ill.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a fund to be established at a later date.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset.
