Mrs. Otto Bruett, of Jackson township, died last Thursday and was buried at the Winterset cemetery on Friday. Her disease was dropsy and she was a severe sufferer for many days. The deceased was a sister of our former townsman, Mr. Joseph Williams, now of Greenfield. She leaves a husband and seven children, the youngest being a babe but four months old. Mrs. Bruett was aged 41 years at the time of her death.

Madison Township

Death has again made a visit to our community and left one home shredded in gloom from the shadow of his sable wing. Mrs. Otto Bruett died last Wednesday after a lingering and painful illness. She leaves a husband and large family of children to mourn her loss, who will miss her as only a good wife and mother can be missed. Mr. Bruett has the sympathy of all. May he draw consolation from that fount that never faileth.
