PAULINE FRECH DIES IN ILLINOIS

Pauline E. Frech, formerly of Madison county, died Tuesday, June 30, at Springfield, Ill. She was 75 years of age.

Miss Frech was a native of Grimes, Iowa, where she was born May 6, 1895, a daughter of Christopher and Katherine Schiele Frech. At Springfield, she had been employed in secretarial work for the state of Illinois.

She was a member of the First United Methodist church at Springfield, of the Women's society for Christian Service of that church. She was a Y.W.C.A. member and was affiliated with the Victory club and the Toastmistress club.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Louise Groth, Mrs. Anna Lee, and Mrs. Clara Meilike.

Funeral services were held from the Boardman-Smith Funeral chapel in Springfield last Friday, in charge of the Rev. Dan Wise, and from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the United Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
