ROBERT PARKER DIES AT 51 YEARS

Robert R. Parker of Spring Hill, a former Madison county resident, died last Thursday, June 25, at University hospital in Iowa City. He was 51 years of age.

Mr. Parker was a native of Cass county, where he was born Feb. 11, 1919, a son of Charles and Clara Bray Parker. He lived in Madison county for 36 years, moving to Warren county in 1960. He had been employed in maintenance work at the Norwalk school.

He was married Feb. 11, 1959, at Bethany, Mo., to Dorothy Bailey of Winterset, who survives him.

Mr. Parker was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints.

In addition to his wife; he leaves five children, Mrs. Roberta Sease of Des Moines, Ronald Parker of Spring Hill, Mrs. Marilyn Reed of Des Moines, Robert Parker, Jr., of Spring Hill, and Judith Parker of Spring Hill. He also leaves nine grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Clara Parker of Winterset; four brothers, John Parker of Des Moines and Raymond, Glenn and William Parker all of Winterset; and a sister, Mrs. Wilma McDonald of Patterson.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home here, conducted by Elder Leland Shipley. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
