Our Chip-Basket

B. K. Johnson, of Seward, Neb., died recently. Mr. Johnson spent last winter in the county. He was one of the first members of Co. D., 1st Iowa Cavalry, enlisting from this county. He veteraned and served during the war. He was a good soldier, a good citizen, husband and father. We regret to hear the sad news of his death.
