FRED LENOCKER DIED THURSDAY

Sudden Heart Attack Fatal To Penn Township Resident

Fred E. Lenocker, member of a well known Penn township family, died last Thursday, May 7 at his farm home. Death resulted from a heart attack. He was 53 years of age.

Mr. Lenocker was born Jan. 30, 1906 south of Dexter in Madison county. He was a son of Guy and Ora Morford Lenocker. His entire life was spent in the Penn Center community. He attended Dexter high school and was a life-long member of the Penn Center Methodist Church.

He was married Feb. 29, 1928 to Ila Hunter, who survives him. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Elinor Stiles of Dexter and Helen Lenocker at home; one grandson; and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Fern Algreen of Dexter, Paul Lenocker of Redfield, Jasper Lenocker of Dexter, Mrs. Mary Shields of Alexandria, Va., Ray Lenocker of Dexter and Mrs. Ruth Loftis of Aurora, Colo.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Penn Center Methodist church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Robert D. Williams. Burial was made in the Dexter cemetery.

FRED LENOCKER

Fred E. Lenocker, son of Guy W. and Ora Morford Lenocker was born January 30, 1906 south of Dexter in Madison county. He died on his farm May 7, 1959 at the age of 53 years, 3 months and 7 days.

Fred attended the rural school Penn No. 3 and the Dexter High School. He was baptized and united with the Penn Center Methodist church where he has been a life-long member. His entire life was spent in the Penn Center community.

On February 29, 1928 he was united in marriage to Ila Hunter of that community. Two daughters were born to this union, Elinor Stiles of Dexter and Helen who is at home.

Fred was the third of eight children. Surviving are: Fern Algreen of Dexter, Paul of Redfield, Jasper of Dexter, Mary Shields of Alexandria, Virginia, Ray of Dexter and Ruth Loftis of Aurora, Colo. A brother Robert died in infancy. He was also preceded in death by his father.

Besides his wife, his two daughters and his six brothers and sisters, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ora Lenocker of Dexter and a beloved little grandson, Timmy Stiles. There is also a large number of nieces and nephews and a host of relatives, neighbors and friends.

Funeral services were held May 9 at the Penn Center Methodist church with Rev. Robert D. Williams in charge. Burial was in the Dexter cemetery
